Comprehensive Petition to the United Nations: Unraveling the Complex Causes of the Zionists’ Campaign of Genocide or Ethnic Cleansing in Palestine
Zionism, both in Israel and the U.S., and the U.S. Plutocracy are equally to blame for the Palestinian crisis.
The petition is filed on behalf of the approximately 2.2 million residents of Gaza who are being illegally detained in an open-air prison by the State of Israel. The petition explains that the crisis in Palestine traces back to the Balfour Declaration of November 2, 1917. The current acts of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and apartheid being committed against Palestinians trace back to 1936 when British Zionists began such actions.
The petition sets forth sufficiently reliable allegations that the petitioners are being detained arbitrarily and that the continuation of the detention may constitute a serious danger to their health or life. Accordingly, petitioners respectfully request that the WGAD consider this Petition pursuant to its “Urgent Action” procedure and that the WGAD issue an opinion pursuant to Resolution 1997/50 of the Commission on Human Rights. Petitioners further request coordinated effort between the WGAD and Ms. Francesca Albanese, Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967, as the expertise of both are implicated in the case at hand.
Petitioners seek the following relief: the WGAD to find that Petitioners’ prolonged and indefinite detention is arbitrary and to recommend their immediate release from Gaza’s open-air prison.
Petitioners recommend that the WGAD work closely with Ms. Francesca Albanese, Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967, to address the following issues: (a) Immediately stop the acts of genocide/ethnic cleansing by Israel and ensure the ongoing safety of the Palestinian children; (b) Israel must return all illegally occupied territory to the Palestinians; (c) Restitution; (d) Dissolution of the Zionist Nation-State of Israel; (e) Reconstruction of Gaza; (f) Termination of all U.S. aid to Israel; (g) Israel and the U.S. must be prohibited from the onshore and offshore exploration & production of oil & gas reserves on Palestinian territory, including Gaza, which has been illegally occupied by Israel; (h) Israel and the U.S. must be prohibited from constructing the Ben Gurion canal on Palestinian territory, including Gaza, which has been illegally occupied by Israel; and (i) Israel must destroy its nuclear weapons arsenal.
The term “Israeli-Hamas War” is a misnomer; it is not a “war” in the traditional sense. This term is used by Israel to label what is effectively a campaign of genocide or ethnic cleansing in Palestine. This campaign aims to stabilize the region, enabling both Israel and the U.S. to achieve specific objectives: (a) Exploit oil and gas reserves in Palestinian territories, which are occupied illegally. Notably, Chevron has become a significant player in Israel’s energy sector, managing the Tamar platform and another substantial gas source, the Leviathan field. Chevron seeks to leverage its position in Israel as a stepping stone to becoming a major gas exporter to Europe; and (b) Initiate the construction of the Ben Gurion Canal.
